About/Full Preview:
Curated by Aunia Kahn & Russell J. Moon, and hosted at the wonderful Modern Eden Gallery each artist brings their interpretation of a "Moon Goddess" to the walls of the gallery. Lighting your night with passion, celestial visions, and all encompassing creativity.

Having been photographed, painted, sculpted, costumed, and brought about in every medium to secure her mystical allure into eternity -- it is no wonder why we adore her presence. With this exhibition the artists have taken all her nature, and created artwork based on the "moon".

Two Group Shows in February

I will have this new piece at ART N SOUL Studio in Allentown PA for a group show titled My Fetish Valentine. I may also be having prints made of this one that I will offer through my bigcartel shop soon!

"Sweet Surrender"
16" x 20"

Two Group Shows in February

I will have two new pieces presented in custom made mosaic frames in a group show titled OBJET TROUVE' at The Potter's Wife Gallery. I had so much fun creating these obnoxious frames from found vintage objects. Thanks to my husband who helped me by building the raw frames out of wood, that I got to make a big mess of! It was a time consuming under taking, and something I have been wanting to do for years, and I completely enjoyed it. I plan to do more in the near future. Here are the two pieces for that show and the event flyer below. If you are interested in a closer look at these, as in hanging them on your wall at home, contact the friendly folks over at the Potters Wife Gallery for prices.

"Bittersweet"
"11 x 17"
acrylic on wood
(frame extends beyond these measurements and increases the overall final size)

"Woodland"
10" x 11"
acrylic on wood
(frame extends beyond these measurements and increases the overall final size)

 Antique hat pin

At the close of 2011

2011 was a busy year for me and I produced a lot of work, along with curating my first group show titled SMALL HIDDEN DOORS. A theme based show of artists re-interpretation of a dream. Here is one piece I did for that show. This is a dream re-interpreted of drinking poison:

"Dangerous Garden"
18" x 24"
acrylic on wood
SOLD

Another piece created at the close of 2011, was this portrait I did of Mozart's sister, Nannerl.

"Hidden in plain sight"
15" x 20"
acrylic on wood

I have created a custom mosaic frame of vintage items to go with this piece. I will post that at a later date.
